Slippage protection
Tip Stack enforces server-side slippage limits to protect you from unfavourable swaps. The maximum slippage for any token swap is 0.5%. If market conditions push the required slippage above this threshold, the transaction will not proceed and you’ll be asked to retry.How the swap works

- Tip Stack fetches a real-time price and converts the USD value to the equivalent token amount.
- A payment is prepared on the server — either a direct transfer (when no swap is needed) or an automatic token conversion.
- The transaction is returned to your wallet for signing — you see the exact instructions before you approve.
- After signing, the transaction is submitted and Helius confirms it on-chain.
Gasless transactions

Supporters in Nigeria can pay in NGN using a credit card or bank transfer through Fossa Pay, without needing a crypto wallet. The tip is converted and settled to the creator’s Solana wallet automatically after payment clears.How fiat payment works
- On the checkout page, select the Pay with NGN option.
- Enter the amount in naira. Tip Stack shows you the equivalent USD value for reference.
- Choose your payment method — credit/debit card or bank transfer.
- You are presented with Fossa Pay’s payment instructions (account details for bank transfer, or a card form for card payments).
- Complete the payment in your banking app or with your card details.
- Fossa Pay notifies Tip Stack once the payment settles, and the creator’s wallet is credited.
Fees for fiat payments
A 5% platform fee is applied to fiat tips. This covers fiat-to-crypto conversion, Fossa Pay processing costs, and Tip Stack’s operating fee. The creator receives the net amount after this deduction.Supported payment methods (NGN)
